Chalet Chimère is available throughout the year for rental on short or long lets, either as a complete family home or as 3 independent apartments.
The Whole Chalet
The chalet is a detached 3-floor property, in Les Esserts, a peaceful residential area at the eastern edge of Leysin village with uninterrupted mountain views to the south.
Each apartment has a secure internal entrance, and external entrances are at garden level and 1st floor level at the side of the building. Accommodation comprises 4 large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 living rooms, 3 dining areas (seating 6, 8 and 10), 3 kitchens and a laundry room. There are several sofa beds (for occasional use) and 2 folding beds. The top apartment living room can be used as a bedroom using a sliding wall. Baby equipment includes 3 cots, baby bath, two high-chairs and 2 push-chairs (one with portable cot).
The whole chalet was extensively modernised at the beginning of 2006, including a complete refit of bathrooms and kitchens, now featuring the latest machines and gadgets.
Outside, an attractive garden leads via 21 stone steps down to road level; there is good parking, and two garages for use by guests. Another garage has been converted for storing and maintenance of ski, boarding and toboggan equipment.
