There’s a lot to do for all ages, both winter and summer, in Leysin and the surrounding area. Winter is dominated by snow sports: skiing, boarding, tobogganing and ski du fond; Spring and Summer by walking, climbing, mountain biking and the Autumn offers
numerous options (including mushroom picking!). Paragliding, based around the summit at Berneuse, is available throughout the year, with dual training available.
The village patinoire offers ice skating throughout the year, and tennis, swimming, tennis (indoor and outdoor) and squash are available in the Leysin sports centre. Curling, boules and mini-golf can be enjoyed subject to weather, and there are several excellent golf-courses within 30mins drive.
Aigle is the site of the Word Cycling Centre (Centre Mondial du Cyclisme) - a superbly equipped sports centre offering the latest training and facilities including a wood-covered 200m track, gymnastics hall, dedicated body building equipment and a multi-purpose sports area.
